X'Mas Card
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Ultramarine Blue 23, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic - Gold 352, Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner - Red 701, Fevicryl 3D Outliner Glitter - Gold 401, Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Pearl Metallic - Gold 352, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Canvas Sheet, Fine Art Brushes, A3 Sized Red, Green Card Paper, Golden Non-Woven Paper, Golden Thread, Green Wool, Pencil, Scissors, Paper Cutter.
Description :
Wishing can be made more special with the DIY Christmas card.STEP 1
Take an A3 sized red card paper.
Mark and cut the paper that measures 16” x 8” in size.
Fold the paper from the centre.
Take the green card paper, mark and cut so as to measure 7 ½” x 7 ½” in size.
Similarly, take the golden non-woven paper, mark and cut it in a 7” x 7” in size.
STEP 2
Take an A3 sized fine art canvas sheet.
Draw few X’mas motifs like a pair of stockings in a mirror image, baubles, candy sticks, gift boxes and hollies on it.
Paint the motifs using Acrylic Colours - Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Ultramarine Blue 23 and Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic - Gold 352.
Leave it to dry.
STEP 3
Cut along the outlines of the motifs.
Take the pair of stocikngs painted in same pattern.
STEP 4
Place the mirror image stockings back to back.
Take a needle and a green woollen thread, stitch the three edges of the stockings by leaving the opening in the stockings.
Refer to the image.
STEP 5
Paint the outline of the baubles, candy sticks, gift boxes and the hollies with 3D Outliner Glitter - Gold 401.
Leave it to dry.
STEP 6
Stick the hollies on the stockings using Fabric Glue.
Let it dry.
Place the candy sticks, baubles and gift boxes in the stitched stockings.
Refer to the image.
STEP 7
Stick the green and gold papers on the red card paper using Fabric Glue.
Take the gold thread; stick the thread on the top side of the card along with the dangling stockings on it using Fabric Glue.
STEP 8
Take the red and green card paper, draw and cut tags out of them.
Make sure that the red tag is slightly bigger than the green tag.
Stick the tags towards the bottom side of the card using Fabric Glue.
Write a message “Ho Ho Ho MERRY CHRISTMAS” and draw few hollies with Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner - Red 701 and 3D Cone Outliner Pearl Metallic - Gold 352 .
Leave it to dry.
