Wooden Trays With Kantha Motifs

Kantha depicts nature-inspired elements of flowers and leaves as well as abstract patterns!

So make these DIY Wooden Trays with Kantha Motifs using Fevicryl Glass Colours and Fevicryl 3D Outliners to give a traditional look to your home decor!

STEP 1 : Source the base material

Take four different sized plain wooden trays. We are going to paint these trays with the Fevicryl Glass Colours and Fevicryl 3D Outliner motifs from Kantha Art.  

STEP 2 : Paint the base coat

Paint the trays with a basecoat of Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry. Paint the second coat with Fevicryl Glass Colour Sea Blue. Let it dry. Take A4 white paper, draw anf trace the butta design inspired from the Kantha embroidery pattern on it using carbon paper.  

STEP 3 : Paint the kantha butta

Paint the Kantha embroidery butta design with Fevicryl 3D Outliner White 707. Let it dry.  

STEP 4 : Finishing touches

Paint the other trays with Fevicryl Glass Colours Crystal Green, Tomato Red, Ultramarine Blue and Pink to make violet shade. Let it dry. Draw and paint the Kantha design with Fevicryl 3D Outliner Green 704, Orange 705, White 707, Black 708 and Neon Pink 712. Let it dry. 

STEP 5 : Final look
