Create these beautiful wooden coasters with floral mandala design using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours.
STEP 1 : Source the base material
- Take a set of wooden coasters with holders.
- We are going to paint the wooden coasters with floral design inlay work inspired from Mysore wooden inlay art on it.
STEP 2 : Paint the base coat
- Paint the coasters and holder with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27.
- Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Draw and trace the design
- Take an A4 white paper draw the floral inlay work design inspired from Mysore wooden inlay art in the size of the coaster on it.
- Trace the same design on the coasters with yellow carbon paper.
STEP 4 : Paint the design
- Paint the mandala design with Acrylic Colour Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Dark Brown 05, Indian Red 10 and White 27.
- Let it dry completely.
STEP 5 : Finished look
- Paint the balance area around the mandala design with Acrylic Colour Burnt Sienna 01.
- Let it dry completely.
- Apply the coat of varnish for preservation of the design.
