Women’S Day Canvas With Decoupage
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Lemon Yellow 03, White 27, Leaf Green 62, Teal Blue 68, Neon Pink 018, Fevicryl Modge Podge Gloss, 10” x 12” Fine Art Canvas, Fine Art Brushes, Black and White/ Sepia Prints Of The Mughal Queens, Paper Cutter, Pencil, Scissors, Resin And Hardener (Liquid Glass), Colour Palette, Water Container
Description :
A tribute to the fortitude and elegance to the queen of the yesteryears this DIY is a lovely mixed media project. This can make for an eclectic wall décor too.
STEP 1 : Take the prints
- Take 10” x 12” canvas board and the printout of the Mughal queen.
STEP 2 : Stick on the base.
- Mark and cut the print in the size of the canvas and stick with Modge Podge Gloss on the canvas by removing the air pockets.
- Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Paint the background
- We are going to paint the backgrounds in a quirky style.
- Draw and paint the statue of Liberty and sun rays on the right upper corner on the background of the queen using Acrylic Colour Chrome Yellow 03, Orange 17, White 27, Sky Blue 63 and Neon Pink 018.
- Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Finishing
- Similarly make the other 2 canvases with the Mughal queens.
- Paint an airplane on one and the kites and the flowers on the other canvas on the background using Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Lemon Yellow 03, White 27, Leaf Green 62, Teal Blue 68 and Neon Pink 018.
- Let it dry.
- Take the plastic bowl add Resin and Hardener (Liquid Glass) resin 2:1 hardener( in ratio), mix it neatly.
- And pour on the decoupage canvas to get the effect of liquid glass.
- Let it dry.
