Wall Dangler With Shilpkar
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fevicryl Non Sticky Shilpkar, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Rolling Pin, Ruler, Paper Cutter, Ornamental Stones (Yellow, Orange, White Medium Size, white big size), Red Tassel, Golden Beads, Red Cord, Colour Palette, Water Container, Clay Carving Tools.

Come Navratri and we all search for ideas to decorate our living space. Here is a clay modelling project to bring about that ethnic Durga look during the festive season.
STEP 1
Take Shilpkar resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 2
Take the dough ball; roll it to make a slab with rolling pin.
Mark and cut the slab in square shape measuring 5” x 5” in size. Leave it till semi dry.
Draw a face of Durga on it.
Refer to the image. Let it dry.
STEP 3
Similarly roll the second slab and let it semi dry.
Draw a face of the lion on the slab.
Cut along the outlines and remove excess clay.
STEP 4
Roll one more slab for the face of the Mahishasura the demon.
Draw the face of the demon Mahishasura neatly on the semi dried slab.
Refer to the image.
Cut along the outlines and remove excess clay.
Let it dry.
STEP 5
Take some dough and make the details of Durga face like the crown, her facial expressions, earrings and the border design of the slab.
Make the facial details of the lion with little amount of the clay.
Similarly make the details for the face of the demon neatly with some clay.
Leave it to dry completely.
Pierce the holes on the slab of Durga, the lion and the slab of the demon face neatly.
STEP 6
Paint the slabs with Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352.
Leave it to dry.
STEP 7
Enhance the faces by sticking few Yellow, Orange, White Coloured Medium Sized, white coloured big sized Ornamental Stones with Fabric Glue.
Let it dry.
STEP 8
Dangle the faces using Red Coloured Cord along with the Red Coloured Tassel and Golden Coloured Beads towards the end of the dangler.
