You Will Need:
Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fevicryl Acrylic Colours
Description :
Fengshui tortoise paper weight.STEP 1
Take Fevicryl Shilpkar, mix the resin base and hardener evenly to form even dough.
You may sprinkle little talcum powder on your hands to avoid sticking.
STEP 2
Take shilpkar dough and shape it in a half round dome shape for the tortoise shell.
Mark the shell lines using paper cutter.
STEP 3
Take shilpkar dough and roll it in capsule shapes- 5 pieces. Shape and stick four as legs and 1 as head. Mark toe lines, lips, eyes etc using paper cutter and ball point refill.
Use Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue to stick.
Leave to harden completely.
STEP 4
Using shilpkar dough make a tortoise like base. Refer picture.
Stick the tortoise on this base using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue.
Leave to harden.
STEP 5
Paint the tortoise using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Vandyke Brown.
Leave to dry.
STEP 6
Sponge dab with Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour- Gold.
Leave to dry.
STEP 7
Apply 2-3 coats of Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue on the whole piece to get a glossy look.
Leave to dry.
