Tray Mirror Décor With Blue Pottery

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Sky Blue 63, Fevicryl Glass Colours Kit (Ultramarine Blue, Sea Blue, Orange, Crystal Green, Golden Yellow), Fevicryl 3D Outliner Blue 702, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Wooden Tray with Compartments, Tile Pieces, Mirror, A4 White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Pencil, Colour Palette, Water Container

Description :

A tray mirror décor inspired by the revered blue pottery from Jaipur, a simple wooden tray that has been transformed so creatively making it attractive for the walls of your house. 

STEP 1 : Source the base material

Take wooden trays with compartments. (We have taken 8 compartment trays for the same measuring 16” x 8” in size.) 

STEP 2 : Paint the base coat

Paint it with a base coat of Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry. 

STEP 3 : Cutting the tile and mirror

Mark and cut the tiles and the mirrors according to the size of the tray compartments.

STEP 4 : Paint the Final Coat

Paint the tray with a final coat of shades in Blue using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27 and Sky Blue 63. Let it dry. 

STEP 5 : Draw and trace the design

Take A4 size white paper, draw the design inspired from blue pottery in the size of the tile pieces on it, trace the same design on the tile pieces with yellow carbon paper. 

STEP 6 : Paint the Outline

Paint the outline of the design with Fevicryl 3D Outliner Blue 702. Let it dry.  

STEP 7 : Paint the design

Paint the blue pottery design using Fevicryl Glass Colours Ultramarine Blue, Sea Blue, Orange, Crystal Green and Golden Yellow. Let it dry completely. 

STEP 8 : Finishing of the tray

When the tile pieces get fully dry, stick them in the tray compartments alternately along with the mirror pieces using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Let it dry. 

STEP 9 : Final Look

Your tray mirror décor for the wall is ready to be hung on your Wall.
