I have used rough( used) A4 printing sheets, coloured craft sheets can also be used. Take a 6 by 9 size of rectangular piece. The number of pieces are based on the size of the origami. As in this case I made around 662 rectangular cuttings.

Take a rectangular piece make horizontal crease by folding it in half in both horizontal and vertical direction. Now fold the piece in horizontal direction in the folded piece bring right most corner and left most corner to the center so as to obtain a triangular piece. Now fold up the extra portion on the lower sides in the front and backward side and then fold the obtain piece into half so to again obtain a triangle. Make all the pieces in the similar patern and then fix them one under the other in a specific sequence to obtain the desired figure.

For making the eyes use a bit smaller size rectangular pieces and the attach them in circular manner and make the eyes on piece of paper and stick it on the circular piece or you can stick aritificial eyes available in the market.

Now colour the figure using fabric colour or if coloured sheets are used then your figure is ready.
