Craft a charming specks holder shaped like a cat face using Mouldit and Fevicryl Acrylic Colours. This intermediate-level project combines clay modelling and painting for a fun and functional piece of home decor.
STEP 1 : Prepare the Clay and Make Shape
- Mix Mouldit resin base and hardener to create an even dough.
- Roll the dough into a medium-thin slab using a rolling pin.
- Mark and cut out the outline of a cat face from the slab.
- Use additional clay to create facial details with clay modelling tools and Fabric Glue.
- Let it dry.
STEP 2 : Paint the Base Coat
- Paint the base coat with Acrylic Colour White 27.
- Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Finishing Touches and Final Look
- Paint the details on the cat face using Acrylic Colours Black 02, White 27, and Pastel Acrylic Colour Peach.
- Let it dry. Refer to the image.
- Place your specks in the holder.
