Take blue hand-made paper and on the wrong side draw the shape of the bag. Refer picture. Make two such pieces.

Extend the design ½ inch at top and on the rounded side mark V shape slits. Fold the top ½ inch and stick (on the wrong side of the paper). Cut the slits and fold each slit on the wrong side. Do not stick. Repeat same for second piece.

Take yellow paper, mark the rounded shape of the blue paper, on this shape- make a steps like design and cut it. Refer picture. Stick it on the blue paper using Fevicryl No-Stitch Fabric Glue. This will be the front of the bag.

To make top flap of the purse, draw a flap design on the yellow paper. Cut the design. Stick it on the top of the second blue paper. Refer design. This will be the back of the purse.

To join front and back side of the purse, cut a strip of yellow paper. Take breadth according to the slit size of blue paper and length should same as the length of the rounded side of the blue paper. Take one blue paper and apply glue on the slits and stick the slits on the wrong side of the yellow strip. Use Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue to stick. Stick the slits of second blue paper on the yellow strip, to get a bag like structure.

For strap, stick the thick plaited thread on the bag. Refer main picture. Stick the wooden bead on the front. Fold the flap and stick a small satin ribbon making a loop to close the purse.

Draw floral design on the front of the bag and decorated using Fevicryl 3D Outliners Non Sticky Glitters- Black 415, Rangoli 407, Pink 410, Silver 402. Leave to dry. Tip: Make and decorate a lovely long rectangular paper bag.
