STEP 1 : Drawing the design
• We are going to make a beautiful canvas in mixed media on the Occasion of Ram-Navami • Take an A4 sized white paper. • Draw a simple line drawing of the temples along the coast of Sarayu River bank, the place where Lord Rama was born with a bow and arrow and the word “Shree Ram” in Devnagari. Trace the same design on 8” x 8” sized canvas board with yellow carbon paper.
STEP 2 : Painting the background
• Paint the temples, the background of the temples in watery wash effect using Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, White 27 and Sky Blue 63. • Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Enhancing the look
• Enhance the outline of the Temples, the Bow and Arrow, the word “Shree Ram” by sticking the ornamental glass beads (golden, red, copper pearl orange colours) using Fabric Glue. Leave it to dry. • Outline the painted canvas with Acrylic Colour Coral Red 66 and golden coloured Glass beads with fabric glue. Leave it to dry completely.
