Pigs On A Clock
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Pink 18, White 27, Flesh Tint 30, Coral Red 66, Teal Blue 68, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fevicryl Modge Podge Gloss, Fine Art Brushes, Clay Carving Tools, Rolling Pin, Ruler, Paper Cutter, MDF Placemat, Clock Attachments, Black Small Beads, Colour Palette, Water Container.

Make this cute little pig clock to add that quirkiness in the décor of your kitchen or kid’s room! It is made with Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Acrylic Colours and simple clay modelling techniques. Read more to learn how this DIY was made.
STEP 1 : Mixing of clay
• Take Mouldit resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 2 : Making the slab
• Take the dough; roll it to make the medium thin slab with a rolling pin.
• Mark and cut the slab in round shape measuring 7” diameter in size.
• Create a hole in the center for clock attachments.
• Let it dry completely.
STEP 3 : Making the shape of pig face
• We are going to make the faces of the pigs with different expressions with Mouldit.
• Take some dough, flatten it in between your palms and shape it to make the simple face of the pig.
• Let it get semi dry.
STEP 4 : Detailing the face
• Take the slab.
• Take rear side of the pen or you can take the clay carving tools to make a simple dent to depict the mouth of the pig on the slab of the face.
STEP 5 : Making facial details of the pig
• Take some dough to make the ears, the nose, the tail and the eyes with it.
• Take black coloured beads and embed it in the balls to make it look like eyes.
• Similarly create the holes on a small oval for the nose.
• Let it dry.
STEP 6 : Finishing the face
• Take the eyes, the nose, the ears and stick it appropriately on the face with Fabric Glue.
• Leave it to dry.
STEP 7 : Making 4 faces of the pigs
• Take some dough to make 4 faces of the pigs with different expressions with details.
• Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 8 : Painting the pigs and clay slab
• Paint the round slab and the pigs with Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Pink 18, White 27, Flesh Tint 30, Coral Red 66 and Teal Blue 68. Refer to the image.
• Write the word “Oink” in the centre when the slab is wet.
STEP 9 : Sticking the faces of the pigs
• Similarly write the same word all over on the slab.
• Let it dry completely.
• Stick the pigs in the place of the main numbers (3,6,9,12) aesthetically using Fabric Glue.
• Let it dry.
STEP 10 : Attaching the clock attachments
• Take the MDF wooden placemat.
• Mark and cut the circle measuring 9” radius in size.
• Paint the MDF base with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. Leave it to dry.
• Stick the clay slab with the pigs on the painted MDF base with Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
• Paint the periphery of the MDF base with dots using Acrylic Colours Coral Red 66 and Teal Blue 68. Let it dry.
• Attach the clock attachments from the rear side of the circular base.
• Your clock with the pigs is ready.
