Pichwai Decor Plates
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, Lemon Yellow 11, Orange 17, Pink 18, White 27, Teal Blue 68, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fevicryl 3 D Outliner Pearl White 301, Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Antique Gold 356, Fevicryl Modge Podge Gloss, Fine Art Brushes, Ceramic Plates (6” Diameter), Colour Prints (Pichwai ), Scissors, A4 White Paper, OHP Sheet, CD Marker, Paper Cutter, Colour Palette, Water Container.

Here is a perfect Wall décor DIY to give that ethnic look to your home! Made with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours and Fevicryl Modge Podge these Pichwai plates are sure to be a hit!
STEP 1 : Source the base
• Take three plain ceramic plates.
STEP 2 : Painting the base
• Paint the plates with pastel shades using Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, Lemon Yellow 11, Orange 17, Pink 18, White 27 and Teal Blue 68.
• Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 3 : Making the stencil
• Take an A4 white paper; draw a simple jali design on it.
• Place an OHP sheet on the drawing and outline it with CD marker.
• Cut the design aesthetically to make the stencil using a paper cutter.
STEP 4 : Stencil painting
• Take the painted plates.
• Take the jali stencil design and sponge dab it on the plates randomly using Pearl Metallic Gold 352.
• Let it dry completely.
STEP 5 : Decoupage on the plates
• Take the coloured print of the motifs from Pichwai paintings.
• Cut along the outlines neatly with the pair of the scissors.
• Stick the Pichwai motifs in the centre of the painted ceramic plates using Modge Podge Gloss neatly. Remove the air pockets properly while sticking.
• Let it dry.
STEP 6 : Sealing the prints
• Apply 2 to 3 coats of Modge Podge Gloss on the top.
• Leave it to dry completely.
• Enhance the motifs with 3 D Outliner Pearl White 301, Pearl Metallic Gold 352 and Antique Gold 356.
• Leave it to dry completely.
• Mix a bit of Fevicryl Mouldit and stick the hooks from behind with it to hang the plates.
