Description :
A fun kind of a nameplate is what we have made with Mouldit. We have used a jungle theme to break away from the usual monotonous nameplates. Make your own personalised theme and customise your nameplate.
STEP 1
Take Mouldit - resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make an even dough.
STEP 2
Roll the ball of dough to make a flat slab with a rolling pin. Leave the slab to semi dry. Write the alphabets of your name like we have written “JACOB”.
STEP 3
Cut out the alphabets using a paper cutter. Let it dry completely.
STEP 4
Similarly, roll another slab of clay. Draw few face outlines of animals like lion, panda, giraffe, monkey and an elephant. Cut out the outline of the animal faces from the clay Refer to the image.
STEP 5
Paint the faces of the animals with Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Golden Yellow 09, Orange 17 and White 27. Let it dry.
STEP 6
Similarly, paint the alphabets by making similar animal prints which are there on the animals with using Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Golden Yellow 09, Orange 17 and White 27.
STEP 7
Paint the wooden placemat by giving the effect of the jungle using Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Dark Green 06, Light Green 12 and Prussian Blue 19. Leave it to dry.
STEP 8
Stick the alphabets “JACOB” on the wooden placemat using Fabric Glue. Take the green satin ribbon cut about 5 pieces from it. Stick the animal faces on the pieces of the satin ribbon using Fabric Glue. Stick the dangling face ribbons on the rear side of the placemat with Fabric Glue. Make sure that when you dangle the faces, follow the prints which are on the alphabets Take the green satin ribbon and stick it from the rear side of the placemat to dangle it on the door using Fabric Glue.
