Mould An Adorable Ganpati Idol With Clay

You Will Need:

Fevicol MR, Fevicryl Acrylic Colours, Cornflour, Edible oil, Varnish/ Nail paint

Description :

I am super obsessed with Clay charms since long. So, I thought, why not to start Clay work from Ganpati ji? I bought all the materials needed for the Clay art and preaperd this idol.
That's it :))

STEP 1

Take some Cornflour. And the same or bit lesser amount of Fevicol MR. Pour the Fevicol in the middle of cornflour heap and mix it well with your hand or with the candy stick or spatula. Add Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Crimson to make a base for Ganpati Idol. I have chosen pinkish red. You can choose any. Keep mixing it with your hands to make it smooth!!! Note: Don't keep this Clay dough open as it dries really soon. Preparing dough without AC/ Fan is recommended. Make the dough as per your requirement and not in bulk.

STEP 2

Now that the color is mixed well, you can give the shapes to want to your Clay dough. Start giving shapes with hands and you can use needle for some of the areas of the model.

STEP 3

After completing the red part, for the crown you can add yellow color to your Clay dough. I suggest to make a Clay as you needed to get the proper fresh and smooth texture. Add yellow color and make a crown.

STEP 4

And... Here, you go. Complete your idol and paint it with nail polish shinner to seal / lock the texture. And make it more polished. In between the process, you can connect two different parts with Fevicol MR, if needed. So, let's try this DIY Adorable Ganpati Idol at home :))
