Make this beautiful heat mirror DIY using Mouldit and Acrylic Colours and gift to your near ones for the occasion.
STEP 1 : Prepare the clay & make shapes
- Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix well to make dough even.
- We are going to make a mirror with hearts on it for gifting on Valentines Day using Mouldit.
- Take the dough to make the heart shapes using clay carving tools for ease. Let them dry completely.
STEP 2 : Paint the heart shapes
- Paint the hearts with first coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry.
- Draw and paint a few patterns on the hearts like checks, zig- zag, polka dots using Acrylic Colours Black 02, Crimson 04, Orange 17, Pink 18, Violet 25, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Deep Brilliant Purple 64 and Neon Pink 018. Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Prepare the woolen tassel
- Take the three different coloured wools to make the big tassel.
STEP 4 : Assemble the hearts
- Take two heart shaped mirrors, assemble and stick the painted clay hearts on the top side edge of the mirror using Fabric Glue.
- Assemble and stick both the mirrors back-to-back by sandwiching the woolen thread and tassel on the opposite end in between using little mount of the clay and Fabric Glue.
- Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Final look
- Your heart shaped mirror with colourful hearts is ready for your Valentine.
