Description :

“Seas” the day with DIY mermaids on canvas! Let your imagination swim wild and create art that's truly “fin-tastic”.

Make this DIY using Fevicryl Fine Art Canvas Boards and Fevicryl Acrylic Colours, capturing the essence of these beautiful creatures on your canva

STEP 1 : Source the base material

Take two stretched Fine Art canvas boards measuring 5” x 7” in size. Take an A3 white sheet of paper, draw two mermaids with a sea theme, for the two canvases in a composition that complements one another. This will be a duo canvas painting that needs to sync with one another. Trace the concept on the canvases using yellow carbon paper.

STEP 2 : Start painting and shading

Start painting the mermaids and the sea bed in the backdrop using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Dark Green 06, Golden Yellow 09, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Flesh Tint 30, Leaf Green 62, Sky Blue 63 and Salmon Pink 65. Blend and merge shades in the sea area giving it a natural and realistic look. Dip your brush in more water and a touch of colour to shade and get hues. Let it dry.

STEP 3 : Final look

The canvases once dried and put together will look like this.
