You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, White 27, Neon Pink 018, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Aluminum Plate 10” Diameter, Clay Carving Tools, Paper Cutter, Metal Hook, Colour Palette, Water Container.

STEP 1 : Mixing Fevicryl Mouldit
• We are going to make the Ganesha in lotus flower using Mouldit on an Aluminum plate. • Take Mouldit resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough. • You will need 4 to 5 Mouldit packets to make this design.
STEP 2 : Making the petals
• Take the dough; divide it in to small balls to make the petals of the lotus and shape them using pinching technique.
STEP 3 : Stick the petals on the plate
• Take the Aluminum plate of 10” diameter. • Start sticking the petals on the plate from the outer edge of the plate towards the centre of the plate using Fabric Glue. • Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Making the center
• Take some clay; roll it to make the center of the lotus. • Mark and cut the circle measuring 3” diameter. • Stick the circle in the center of the plate using Fabric Glue. • Create the texture of the flower bed on the center using clay carving tools. • Let it dry. • Starts sticking the rest of the lotus petals till the center circles on the periphery using Fabric Glue. Let it dry. • Refer to the image.
STEP 5 : Making Ganesha
• Take some clay to make the face, crown, ears and the trunk of the Ganesha using pinching and coil technique with the help of the clay carving tools. • Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 6 : Finishing and Painting
• Stick the face of the Ganesha in the center of the Lotus flower using Fabric Glue. Let it dry. • Paint the lotus flower and the face of the Ganesha using Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, White 27, Neon Pink 018 and Pearl Metallic Gold 352. Leave it to dry completely. • Paint the border of the plate around the lotus with Acrylic Colour White 27 and Pearl Metallic Gold 352. Let it dry.
