STEP 1 : Source the base material

- To create table mats with leaf designs using Pastel Acrylic Colours, start by preparing the fabric.
- Take half a meter of off-white casement fabric and cut two pieces measuring approximately 12” x 18”, leaving an extra 1” on all sides.
STEP 2 : Draw the Rectangle
Use a yellow pencil to draw random rectangles on the fabric mat.
STEP 3 : Paint the Design
- Paint the rectangles with various shades from the Pastel Acrylic Colours kit.
- Allow the paint to dry. Next, draw and paint leaf designs on each rectangle using Acrylic Colour Black 02. Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Finishing touches
- Fold the edges of the fabric and secure them using Fabric Glue on the rear side.
- Allow it to dry completely.
- Your two mats should resemble the image provided.
