Let the kids also revel in the spirit of Janamashtmi with this easy DIY! This is sure to be a one happy DIY!

STEP 1 : Source the base
  • We are going to make a dangler with Krishna on the occasion of Janmashtami using Glass Colours on CD.
  • Take the used CD.
STEP 2 : Take the Canvas Sheet
  • We are going to make a dangler with Krishna on the occasion of Janmashtami using Glass Colours on CD.
  • Take the used CD.
STEP 3 : Draw the design
  • Take an A4 white paper, draw the Krishna figure with water and trees on the background on it in the size of the CD.
  • Trace the same design on the canvas sheet with yellow carbon paper.
STEP 4 : Paint the design
  • Paint the outline of the Krishna with 3 D Outliner Black 708 and the background with White 707.
  • Let it dry completely.
  • Paint the Krishna figure with Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Sky Blue 63, Crimson 04, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27 and the background with Water Based Glass Colours Golden Yellow, Crystal Green, Sea Blue and Ultramarine Blue.
  • Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Assembly for dangling
  • Stick the painted canvas sheet on the CD with Fabric Glue.
  • Leave it to dry completely.
  • Take the silver thread, colourful beads.
  • Pass the thread through the beads, Attach the colourful beads and tassel on the tear side of the CD with Fabric Glue.
  • Leave it to dry completely.
