You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Coral Red, Fevicryl 3 D Cone Outliner Non Sticky Black 708, Fevicryl Fabric Glue , Fine Art Brushes MATERIAL: A3 Sized Jute Mats, A3 Sized White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Pencil, Black Coloured Satin Ribbon, Scissors.

A family which stays together eats together, and to make the time spent together more special we have a quirky DIY idea for you! Learn how to make table mat with paper at home with this cute DIY. Paint these fun DIY table mats with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours and surprise your family!

STEP 1

At the onset we take an A3 white paper and draw the words “mom, dad, sis and bro” in a quirky font on it.

STEP 2

Then take A3 sized jute mats. Trace the letters in the center of the mats with yellow carbon paper. If the tracing is light then you have to make the words prominent with darker pencil so that it is easy to work later one. Refer to the image.

STEP 3

Paint all the words using Acrylic Colour Coral Red 66. Leave it to dry.

STEP 4

Do this for all the mats and leave them to dry.

STEP 5

When the red paint has dried, draw cute motifs related to your family on individual mats around the word; like for mom we will draw make up, apron, cupcakes and chopping board and food items. Paint the outline of the motifs with 3 D Cone Outliner Non Sticky Black 708. Do this for all the mats. Let them dry.

STEP 6

Border the mats using black satin ribbon with Fabric Glue. Let it dry. Voila the DIY table mats are ready! Isn’t doing this super fun! You can customize the mats as per your requirement too!
