Make this beautiful streamer, this festival of colours. It's made of fabric using Fevicryl Fabric Colours. This streamer will be beautiful and colourful for using outdoor!
STEP 1 : Source the base material
- Take half a meter plain white cotton fabric, mark and cut 5 equal pieces.
- Dampen the cloth and dye the fabric with colours of your choice.
- We have used Fabric Colours Chrome Yellow 203, Violet 225, Sky Blue 263, Deep Brilliant Purple 264 and Teal Blue 268. Let it dry.
STEP 2 : Mark and cut shapes
- Mark and cut triangles to make the streamer from the fabric.
STEP 3 : Draw and paint the design
- Cut the edges of the triangles with Zig- zag scissors.
- Draw and paint few holi Motifs like pichkari, colour bowls, hands with colours, Musical Instrument (Dhol) and “ holi wishes” with Fabric Colours Burnt Sienna 202, Black 202, Chrome Yellow 203, Crimson 204, Light Green 212, Orange 217, White 227, Cerulean Blue 232, Deep Brilliant Purple 264, Teal Blue 268, Acrylic Colours Neon Yellow 011, Neon Green 012, Neon Orange 017 and Neon Pink 018. Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Finishing touches
- Stick the colourful pom-poms towards the bottom edge of the triangle with Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Final look
- Attach and stick each triangle on the Pink colour wool using Fabric Glue. Leave it to dry.
- Your streamer for this Holi Festival is ready!
