Flower Backdrop For Ganesh Festival
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Dark Green 06, Light Green 12, Orange 17, Leaf Green 62, Coral Red 66, Fevicol A+, Fine Art Brushes, White Paper, Pencil, Scissors, Red Card Paper, Flower Punch, Colour Palette, Water Container.

Looking for inspiration for Ganpathi décor during the lockdown? We have got you covered. Here is a gorgeous décor made using just paper and Fevciryl Acrylic Colours.
STEP 1 : Cut 3 petal flowers
• We are going to make the backdrop of the flowers for Ganesh festival using paper.
• Take a few white papers.
• Draw and cut three petal flowers, small to big in size to make layered flower.
STEP 2 : Paint the flowers
• Paint the flowers in shading effect using Acrylic Colours Orange 17 and Coral Red 66.
• Let it dry.
• Take white paper strip of 1 ½” broad, cut the fringes towards one of the edges with a pair of the scissors.
• Roll it to make the fringe flower and secure the ends with Fevicol A+.
• Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Arrange the flower
• Arrange and stick the three petal flowers in layers and fringe flower on the top side with Fevicol A+. Let it dry.
• Refer to the image.
STEP 4 : Make red flowers
• Take red card paper.
• Similarly draw and cut the different shaped 6 petal flowers small to big in size.
• Refer to the image.
STEP 5 : Arrange and stick the layers
• Arrange and stick it following the sizes using Fevicol A+.
• Let it dry.
STEP 6 : Making leaves
• Take white papers to draw few leaves on it.
• Cut along the outlines of the leaves with a pair of scissors.
STEP 7 : Paint the leaves
• Paint the leaves in shading effect using Acrylic Colours Dark Green 06, Light Green 12 and Leaf Green 62.
• Let it dry.
STEP 8 : Cut and arrange white flowers.
• Take white papers to draw few more layered flowers in different sizes.
• Make lined texture on them using a steel scale.
• Arrange and stick the flowers using Fevicol A+. Let it dry.
STEP 9 : Making the backdrop
• Take flower punch to cut out few small flowers out of it.
• Take any colour card paper of your choice.
• We have taken light green colour card paper. Arrange and stick the bunch of the flowers and the leaves on it with Fevicol A+. Let it dry.
STEP 10 : Flower arrangement
• The arrangement of the flowers and the leaves with the idol will look like this.
