Description :
Craft a vibrant Airpod holder inspired by traditional Madhubani art, featuring a beautifully painted fish motif. This unique accessory is both functional and decorative, perfect for adding an artistic touch to your everyday items.
STEP 1 : Procure the base & trace design
- We are going to make the Airpod holder with a fish motif inspired by the Madhubani art form using a canvas sheet.
- Take an A4 white paper and draw the Madhubani fish on it.
- Trace the same design on a piece of canvas sheet with yellow carbon.
- Trace 2 such fishes in a mirror image.
STEP 2 : Cut the fish shape
- Cut the fish shape with a pair of scissors. Refer to the image for the guidelines of cutting.
STEP 3 : Prepare the jute piece
- Mark and cut the jute piece to make the mouth of the fish.
STEP 4 : Stick the jute
- Stick the jute piece appropriately on the fish to depict the mouth of the fish using Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Paint the design on fish
- Paint the design on the body of the fish using Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Orange 17, and Cerulean Blue 32. Let it dry.
STEP 6 : Finishing touches
- Attach the Velcro inside the two parts of the fish. Stick the googly eyes on both parts of the fish using Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
STEP 7 : Final look
- Your Madhubani fish Airpod holder is done.
