You Will Need:

Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicol MR, Fevicryl Acrylic Colours, Spray paint Gold, Toothpick, Clay shaping tools, Varnish

Description :
This ganesha was made from mouldit clay and was gifted to a friend during Ganesh Festival
STEP 1
Roll the clay into dough by mixing the resin and hardener
STEP 2
With a help of a rolling pin make chapati shape and place a leaf and cut out leaf shape as shown in pic
STEP 3
Use shaping tools to make designs
STEP 4
Make laddoo, modak and other eatables from clay
STEP 5
A closer look after clay dries
STEP 6
The ganesha idol is made in 6 parts
STEP 7
Make legs for ganesha as shown in pic
STEP 8
Make hands as shown in pic
STEP 9
Make cone shaped body
STEP 10
Make the face as shown and leave some space for the eyes
STEP 11
Assemble all parts.
STEP 12
Arrange parts using a toothpick to keep the body in place.
STEP 13
Complete the idol with making remaining accessory items
STEP 14
Let the structure dry completely
STEP 15
Let the leaf be coloured using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours
STEP 16
Golden spray paint is used to colour ganesha.
STEP 17
Apply varnish after the paint dries completely. Let the varnish dry for a day too.
