Description :

Transform plain wooden spatulas, whether new or old, into unique and expressive face spatulas using Mouldit and Acrylic Colours. Each spatula will feature a different character with its own personality and expression.

STEP 1 : Procure the Base
  • Take plain wooden spatulas, whether new or used. These will serve as the base for your face spatulas.
STEP 2 : Prepare the Clay & Build the Faces
  • Mix Mouldit resin base and hardener thoroughly to create an even dough.
  • Use the dough to sculpt faces with different expressions on the spatulas using clay carving tools.
  • Use Fabric Glue to stick the features onto the spatulas. Let them dry.
STEP 3 : Paint the Faces
  • Apply a first wash of Acrylic Colour Black 02 to the faces.
  • Use a rough rag to lightly wipe off some of the black colour to create shading.
  • Paint the final and finished coats using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Light Green 12, Maroon 14, Cerulean Blue 32, Teal Blue 68, and Neon Pink 018. Allow them to dry completely.
